A New Partnership / A Crazy Amount of Work

Well, it's probably about time that we told you what's going on. There won't be an official announcement for another couple of weeks, but we put the Kickstarter on hold for a very good reason. And since then, basically everything about the project has changed.

So what was the big change? Well, Exalted Funeral has agree to publish it!

This partnership is huge for us, and we think it's the perfect place for the book to land. Exalted has done a bunch of super successful Kickstarter campaigns and they stock loads of cool books and games. What this means is that we'll have a way bigger audience and the Glumdark book will end up in stores around the world.

But this also changed every aspect of the Kickstarter campaign for us. All of the marketing materials will be remade. Rather than just making the book and printing some t-shirts, we were able to fund some of the distant stretch goals as part of the project expenses. We brought on an absolute industry legend to illustrate the Deluxe cover and we're going to release the book alongside another big project--a fucking dungeon synth album. So I'm here in California working on music every day.

We're also redesigning the cover and Vil's drawings for it are so amazing that I'm excited for the project all over again. I hope everyone loses their minds when they see it like I did.

In any case, I have a looming deadline to turn in a whole slew of design work and a promo song. So I'll be heads down on all of that for another week before returning to album work and writing several new monsters and tables.

It's kinda crazy how far we've come in the last year. We'll share more soon!
