Three New Tables and a Finished Draft of the Book

New Tables!

Well, the immediate stuff first. Those three tables we teased last month are complete and ready to check out!

Dour Dour Docks

A new Location Generator for quest encounters at a dockside pier. A pierside dock? Anyway, something inspired by my recent visit to Dubrovnik. Perfect for squawking seabirds, coiled stacks of rope and peg-legged jerks.

Bad Jobs

I mean, aren't they all? But yeah, D100 different jobs. Some straightforward and others inane. Useful for crafting NPCs, I suppose. If you like roleplaying as a paste maker.

Traps & Treachery

This one I'm stoked on, and I've been writing more to expand it further. I suspect the web version will be a D66 table or bigger, eventually. Please let me know if any of these play test well, or terribly, or how they can be tweaked.

Book Progress

The updates on the book this month are extremely exciting. The first draft is done. The first run of illustrations is complete and Vil did not disappoint (see the teaser image above). The book is over 120 pages and just absolutely packed with content and illustrations.

The next step is to finish proofing it and punching up the content, which I don't expect will take too terribly long. And then we're going to start having some conversations with potential guest artists. We have a couple of very cool individuals in mind, though some may not happen without a successful Kickstarter.

Lest ye believe yer $1s are going to waste, we just withdrew the entire Patreon cache and gave it directly to Vil for his work on the illustrations. Thanks for your support, it went immediately to making something dope.

I also hand-drew a map that looks pretty neat. So there's that, too.

Mailing List

Since you're already Patrons, this likely doesn't interest. But we created a mailing list for the site. If you aren't logged in as a Patron, you'll find a banner to sign up for it in the footer of the site. If your friends want full site access without becoming a Patron, they can get that for a month by joining the mailing list. But we're certainly not going to post stuff to it that we don't share here.
