Hazbin Hotel: Episode 5

This was my favorite episode of the series so far <3

Hazbin Hotel: Episode 5

He's the voice of Varian in "Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure". There is a lot of songs in the show, and like you said he is a great singer. I would recommend checking out this show.

Kimmy Grimm

Oh ok thank you!

Rose Wright

They are all supposed to be on the highest tier. The tier 3$ is for the Patreon only content.

Matthew Curry

I can't find eps 3, 4 and 8 :( Are they only avail for the highest tier?

Rose Wright

Lol. The duck thing. If Lucifer were to live on earth he would drive a Jeep just so he could duck other Jeep owners. As to Lilith taking Charlie way Charlie was in a nightie and it was bed time.

Dawn Soehren

Which I totally get and stuff! Was just worried about it sounding a little too victim-blamey. Even if it wasn't the smart decision guy didn't deserve that.

Caleb Mapp

i have gotten a lot of remarks like this from that scene. Maybe "deserved" isn't the right term, but I believe husk should've "expected" that out come if he keeps antagonizing the person who basically holds his soul. I don't mean for it to be like, YEAH, THATS WHAT HE GETS. It is more like, dude, what are you thinking, keep your head down...

Matthew Curry

'He deserved that' I'm not quite sure I agree with Husk's treatment from Alastor being deserved. The victim doesn't really ever deserve to be abused. Even if he was talking shit he holds none of the power.

Caleb Mapp

Love the reaction! this is one of my fav episodes on the show LUCIFER is just so adorable. Watching this show with you makes me love it even more! love looking forward to your vids. Btw once you finish Hazbin I would DEF rec helluva boss. Got into that way before Hazbin

MiMi

Commenting separately from my other one to say this was a great react! It was fun watching you react to a song you hadn't heard yet. Also, killer choker, I love it!

kenda1l

If you love Lucifer's voice, his name is Jeremy Jordan and I highly recommend listening to his impromptu version of It's All Coming Back To Me Now. It's amazing and he's freaking adorable in real life too! Link if you want to listen: https://youtu.be/TppJMa8apkc?si=ICG78zPTsHNRJguI

Oh, if there’s even a shred of evangelical christian trauma in you, the next episode’ll slap the taste right out your mouth, it hits all the right buttons. It’s *so good* but even beyond that, the route they’ve taken with this story is something that I’ve been *needing* to see for so long, in specifically this way. I’m so excited for you to keep going on this journey with us 🥰

Vince

They portayed him SO well in this episode. I almost feel like I need to watch it again and break down the mentality more. I cant see me liking an episode more than this one. I have different versions of father issues, but this was still very enjoyable to watch!

Matthew Curry

Meh I prefer it included. Captures the initial reaction! Other than that it’s no different than when you go back to rewatch a scene. We were only 30 seconds in anyway lol

Austin Harnish

Damn this one is doing numbers. I figured this might be an unpopular opinion. Glad to see I’m not the only one who enjoys that song the most!

Austin Harnish

Every damn time with this episode! I think I'll be fine and then "More Than Anything" happens and it ruins me. I never learn!

Reaper Scythe

They both are awesome!

Lari Miron

Speaking for the Daddy Issues coalition, More Than Anything broke me into a million tiny pieces and I cannot listen to it without tearing up still. Not to get overly serious but like—seeing this episode was so fucking-like seeing lucifer and it clicking instantly like Oh. Oh okay. He’s depressed. He’s legitimately, clinically depressed; the brain fog, memory lapses, hyperfocus, the isolation—Falling was one thing but I think when Lucifer tried to make things better for sinners and failed, it *broke* him. It broke his spirit. Charlie said in the opening ‘story’ lucifer ‘lost his will to dream’, does that not sound like a whimsical way a kid would put depression before they know the word? Because we love Charlie we take her at her word initially that Lucifer doesn’t want to see her but then it’s so quickly obvious that’s not the case at all and then like….you start thinking, and *so much* of this show is like, taking what a character says at face value is wrong every single time, it’s always some shit! There’s two sides to every story. I just love it so much.

Vince

Omg THAT song literally gives me chills, i just wanna scream it to the sky

Valeria

I appreciate everyone not caring that I decided to just restart after my entire mind went blank xD. I was SUPPOSED to not include that but I'm not used to making cuts that far in the video lol

Matthew Curry

I had a bunch of rough intro takes and it put me in a weird headspace up until the actual playthrough. I appreciate that though! At that point I was just like, lets just start over lol

Matthew Curry

Hey just wondering why you decided to start over? I think you were doing fine! + makes for a more genuine reaction.

Milly

The way I sort of think of it is Hazbin has much higher stakes in its story and a ton of worldbuilding, whereas Helluva Boss places more emphasis on the characters and the relationships between them (although there is a decent amount of worldbuilding there too dealing with the various rings of Hell). Both are excellent shows and I honestly couldn't tell you which one I love more.

Beckers

I know exactly which song you're talking about and *same*. I cannot wait for the reaction to that one.

Beckers

This episode pulled so hard on my heartstrings when I first watched it. An absolute masterpiece, from start to finish! Also… after this episode there is no further information elaborating who owns Alistor’s soul. The fan favorite culprit is Lilith since she was also coincidentally gone for 7 years prior to the start of the series. But that’s as far as that theory goes since she ALSO has almost zero information revealed about her from here on out. Idk. If you ask me… it’s gotta be Nifty. Yes, Nifty owns Alistor’s soul :)

lumberfoot

Sorry to go on a tangent, but… my personal head canon is that whenever Lucifer isn’t busy running Hell, he’s off working at his toy shop. It’s open 24/7/365 but sadly only receives 2-3 customers per year :(

lumberfoot

obsessed <3

Matthew Curry

jeremy jordan (Lucifer) has one of the best voices on broadway and in musical in general

Appolyon Belmont

Just you wait… we have 6 songs to duet.. but you’re gunna be blasting the future episodes songs too 🤪

Rachhh🤭

Love this theory 💕

Rachhh🤭

Thank you! It's my OC :D

Opal Evergreen

Also adding in about the ducks. The theory goes it’s supposed to be like “The Ugly Duckling” who was rejected by everyone for being different and then turned into a beautiful swan in the end. Could be a metaphor for Lucifer himself, but I think it’s more of how he truly feels about sinners. They were rejected by heaven but they have the potential to be so much better. He put up this front of not caring about them because he doesn’t think heaven will ever change their minds about them anyway, but in his heart he holds the same beliefs as Charlie.

Austin Harnish

Im all out of Karaoke! I dont think I know any other songs coming out :P but it was fun while it lasted!!

Matthew Curry

I straight up love how willing you are to please your audience!! You’ll love helluva boss, money back guaranteed! (Just kidding it’s free) 1)I feel called out by you because I’m currently in the “rubber duck obsessed Lucifer” mindset 😂😂😂 2)Thanks for being my unofficial karaoke buddy 😂

Rachhh🤭

Oh just wait!

Austin Harnish

Were the same!!! Also your pfp is so CUTE

Matthew Curry

dude, i feel like nothing will top this one xD

Matthew Curry

YES plz watch Helluva Boss! It's GREAT I'll watch the fuck outta that react. Also this is my favorite episode

Opal Evergreen

I’ve never clicked on anything so fast in my life. Next episode has my all time favorite song in the series. More Than Anything is a close second for me.
