Like, the vocalist is much worse and she's fully off key on a bunch of parts? I'm guessing you haven't listened to the original or the dub in a long time but the song it's basically ruined by the awful vocals. The translation doesn't seem to be inaccurate so at least it has that foot over other anime of the era

Some stuff didn’t really age well but you can tell The show was made with genuine love and care with good comedic writing and characters that are likable and interesting that it makes awkward stuff worth it

That's another somewhat older anime with a slightly unhinged dub, but not edgy for the sake of it like Ghost Stories. Def some jokes that didn't age well, but overall I think you'll have a much better time

The humor just got old after like 3 episodes and I wasn't excited to watch the next one for the reaction like I have been for other shows. I'm SO hyped for Ouran though! It was one of my very first animes and still one of my all time favorites!
