Great Chapter! I do like that we get to see how other people like Gilgamesh, Illya, Cao Cao, and Georg react to the fight between Shirou and Vali, especially IIlya in that she really hates that Shirou and Rias are dating. I like the self reflection Vali gets as he strives to become better and stronger because of Shirou taking advantage of the time he has to take to get into Juggernaut Drive. I like the backstory you gave Azazel as it does make him a bit more deeper and we get to see his motivation behind him stopping the war. I'm interested to see how he and Shirou work together. I love the small moments Shirou and Rias have as a couple, it really cements their couple status to the school and the others. I'm also pretty excited to read his interaction in the future with the other girls like Yoruichi but that will still be somewhat far in the case for Season 4. I'm interested in the next few arcs to come especially since we could see the growth of Rias' peerage in the underworld and also that it will put more focus on Koneko, Akeno, Asia, and Issei all things considered based on the canon. I'm more interested to read how Akeno's development with Shirou will continue and be dynamic especially since Akeno's issues are really deep to handle. I'm excited to see that develop more as they get closer. Overall, I'm excited for the next chapter!

Seeing Vali post fight actually lament how everything went was hilarious, but also kinda cathartic if you take into account how he tends to be in DXD normally. He’s basically met his first wall, and despite saying Shirou relied on tricks, he kinda acknowledges his own faults and accepts the Defeat. Speaking of people sounding defeated: Man . . Azazels kinda depressing now that you gave him that backstory. It gives context for why he’s so attached to Vali, since from what his kid sounds like, they seemed to have been alike in a lot of ways. On an even darker but more curious note. I kinda wanna see how you tackle Akeno and Shirous relationship a bit because I’ve seen a sort of parallel with another character: Akeno basically describes Shirou in a couple of ways that remind me of how Sakura perceived him in the Heavens Feel route. She basically attributes him to being a bright and smiling part of her life that’s good; like the Fanfiction has her tagged, and that’s always made me think they’d have something. The chapters over time have sprinkled a clear sense that Akeno has an attraction to him, but she never acted upon it, and it never really came into the forefront. But now, at least from how I read into it; it feels like you’re finally placing attention to how their relationship and dynamic as characters will evolve . . Which means that Shirous gonna be walking into a VERY difficult situation with both her internal issues and issues pertaining to Baraquel. Overall, you’ve delivered yet again AOL! And I’m glad that you spent the Holidays well! I’m excited to see everything that you deliver now and frankly, this next arc has me hooked.
