Feb Week 2 UPDATE

ok this one will be a bit long since I will try and post updates from the last time I did my last post


let's see the abridged version first 

let's start with the bad. I got Covid last month and was pretty much out for about 3 weeks and I'm recovering now, I still got some after-effects with constant coughing but it's slowly going away.
now for the good news
I started to learn how to use Marvelous Designer and I'm making new clothing for the models in it now.
in the to-do list 

I'm working on Improving the mesh bodies of the models and have now a better-improved version, I just need to update or redo the previous model Luka to the new body mesh. that new mesh will have more details which I'm also using to build 2 new body types
1 will be a full Futa from the ground up
2 a new improved Luka
3 a template body for future models edits

ok so that's the basics of what I have been up to these past months 

now for the long version
for those of you who follow the discord channel, https://discord.gg/2xjPbQRKGg already know what I'm doing as I post mostly what mistakes I come upon there mostly

let's start from now and make out way back
I have been working on learning Marvelous Designer so that the models will finally have clothing this did require quite a bit of a new workflow to do from the model to what type of files I was able to export from each program and back, I'm glad to say I think I got at least the basics now as you might have seen from the videos. here are some examples of what I have done

and I have a few more that I did not make into Gifs

to show a few of the template clothing I made ready to get edited for some future versions

this is where I have been focused mostly these past few days and I'm getting the hang of how to make patter clothing now, I still can't get high poly models out of it since my PC can't handle it that will have to wait till I get my next upgrade 

now this is a stage I'm doing mostly for some sex videos now that I have the proper models now I can do some animations and start to practice those.

working in blender I have found is a whole lot easier to do animations than any other program I have been trying but it's still something new to me so I need lots of practice.

what I plan to do is to do simple animations to start off with and then merge them in a larger file I have been making base animations using the NLA editor in blender but its still a bit confusing but i seen what its capable of and it should be a whole lot faster than doing a full 6k animation frame by frame for a onetime thing


going back to right before I got Covid 

now as for the mesh improvements on the right is the new improver body mesh and the left one is the mesh that's currently in use with the Luka model but I have plans to do a switch soon.

what I did as improvements in the belly now has more mesh for deformations so now i can add the ribs belly and waist bones if needed for the models or just have a nice smooth belly, it also has the typology for the futa addon if needed. the legs now have a rounded taper so that I can get that muscle look and I redid the knee typology to get that bone to be more defined as I was having a hard time getting the left one to deform and look good.

my naming conventions are going to be based on that mesh the bodies are using. for instance, the left one is the original first version and its name is 000 as for the right one it an updated version now called 001 as I keep on improving on the models base mesh the number will keep on growing, as for the full futa body that will be 002


this is my first attempt at making anime hair and yes its a failure I have been doing some studies on how to do it the right way and not just noodles like this mainly I need a proper hair base geometry with good UVs and then I can add the noodles as highlands or enhancements not just as a base

on the to-do list is as I already made the meshes, to finish up 2 full models an android version and a full Futa body these 2 new models require the following 

full texture paint - will have to do it in substance Painter as blender keeps of lagging when painting over Uvs and sometimes will crash, the only problem in this is that I lack the experience in working with substance painter so this will be my first project on it.

after the texture paint is finished I need to make the hair and face for the Android body, once that's done its the finishing touches which are rigging them and adding physics to them

I think this is about it, what took me the longest was building the new meshes and making the new models
