I love this comment!!!
I did notice Inara looking pretty infatuated with Mal! 😉
I didn't catch Joss Whedon! I have no idea what he looks like actually lol! And Desperate Housewives is definitely not peak television lol, I just have seen a good portion of it a really long time ago!
Ya the Inara episode should be interesting... 🫣🤣 We'll see how well behaved I can be!
I'm really excited for the movie though!!
Comment wherever you want! I don't mind at all if you don't comment over there! Although I hope you know I always enjoy your comments no matter how long and ranting they are!!

Hey there fav watcher of all-things cinema. I really enjoyed your commentary on this episode; this while wiping tears from my eyes with you. "When we can't run, we walk, and when we can't walk, we crawl, and when we can't crawl, we ask someone to carry us." This spoken by the would-be carriers. What a beautiful promise.
In life, we are judged by our actions, and great leaders lead by example. Mal and Zoe are examples of this indelible truth. Empathy, tolerance, understanding and forgiveness constitute the sacred attributes of being worthy humans.
Btw, did you witness Inara's infatuation with Mal as he recounted his captain's moustache story? Hmm.
And did you catch Joss Whedon's cameo at the funeral? I recognized Richard Burgi from 24, another top-tier TV series starring Kiefer Sutherland which rates 8.4 on IMDb. (Sorry, but Desperate Housewives is definitely not my thing. Yikes, where is that wine glass, to remove my eyeball.)
The episode "Heart of Gold" I believe is next. This is the Inara centric ep. Sorry, you won't enjoy it, but I'm going to die laughing at your zippered silent eye-rolling expressions while you internally scream and rant. Should make for unforgettable viewing. 🤣 The up-coming movie will make the journey worthwhile, and you will cry and cheer, and Inara will be forgotten... One day...
Cheers until next time. BTW, I hope you are okay with me not commenting on BCS. You have lots of support there, and my rants are boring, so I'll leave it to the fans who love the series. I'll support Terry and Jason here, on Firefly.

"If you can't run, you walk, and if you can't walk, you crawl, and if you can't do that... you find someone to carry you.“. - Is one of the most notable and often quoted lines from the series. I love that line. And. ‘The Message’ is one of my favorite episodes. Unfortunately there is a little more going on in this one than just the story - as evidenced by the funeral scene. There really was a profound sadness felt by everyone. The ‘how’. and the ‘why’. of how this show was treated by FOX was complicated and convoluted, but ‘what’. was that though the show was fully contracted for a 22/23 episode season, while shooting. ‘The Message’ (this episode) word came down and everyone found out this would be the last - Firefly was done! (they shot the episodes out of the correct order we are watching them in). The cast was truly attending their own funeral. (which is even sadder when you see how wonderfully happy they all were when you see the bloopers reel for the scene that shot before they learned of their demise! This series is still great even though it never got a fair shot from its network.
