And ya for a second I started getting vibes that Kim and Howard had a history or something but then at the end I realized what was actually going on. It's so sad but also so sweet that she was trying to protect Jimmy. She's such a good friend to him. She obviously truly cares about him!

2023-11-18 02:38:02 +0000 UTCSUCH a great episode of the first season and possibly one of my top 5-10 of the whole show, the scenes with Mike are exceptional and i felt the same giddy happy feelings as you watching him be a total badass. And that last scene is so heart breaking because like you said Jimmy goes above and beyond for Chuck in taking care of him and he seems to see right past that and only focus on his faults and his past. Also, you got it completely right i don't think there was ever anything previously going on with Howard and Kim but Howard actually felt bad in away about not letting Jimmy have the job and thats probably what he told Kim when asking her to shut the door and telling her that Chuck is the reason it didn't happen and was also the reason she didnt want to tell him. Just a fantastic episode and the show just gets better and better!
