Schindler's List - REACTION
Added 2023-08-04 23:32:30 +0000 UTCThis is probably the worst reaction video I've ever made... So... there's that. I say multiple times in my outro "I will never watch this movie again." But now that I've calmed down I actually feel like I want to watch it again. It was too much for me on first watch. I truly couldn't even appreciate all that there was to appreciate about this film. I have found myself thinking back on many scenes in this and realizing stuff about it that my brain couldn't fathom at the time while in the throws of the horrific shock value. So I definitely see myself watching this one again, and hopefully without that "first time watch shock/horror factor I can appreciate so much more about the story and film-making. I would love to hear all your thoughts on this movie and things you think I should look out for or pay attention to when I re-watch now that they won't be spoilers. Love you all!

Ya the writing was incredible. I would love to watch it and be able to appreciate all of the amazing details. I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to do that but I'd love to lol.

2023-08-10 03:52:55 +0000 UTCI know this isn’t a “FUN,” film to enjoy. But I am fascinated and enthralled by the acting and writing in this film. This film has some of the smartest dialogues I’ve ever seen, it’s written by Steven Zaillian, who also wrote for “SAVING PRIVATE RYAN,” and David Fincher’s “THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO.” He’s a VERY TALENTED writer, and has a gift for witty dialogue. When Amon said he likes Schindler’s suit, Oscar replied, “I would say I’d get you one, but the man who made it is probably dead.” That was a subtle FUCK YOU to Amon.
