Ya the more I research all this the more I learn everything you're saying! Nuclear is the way to go. Wind is one of the worst options. It's so insanely bad for the environment and almost useless as a power source in the long run it drives me batty when people think solar and wind are all we need. Nuclear power is so much better than people give it credit. (Anyone that plays city skylines knows this.. 🀣 kidding, kidding) It's the way forward but no, we're going to destroy the environment and many many lives while telling ourselves we're saving the environment. It's all so cookoo bananas. Again, your rant was refreshing and it's good to know there are people out there who see through the nonsense. That damn power bill..

And we shouldn't have to live without A/C, or heating. This is how we cope with climate change. Artificial heating and cooling. India, China, Africa and the developing world, want what we have, a comfortable living standard, and the only way forward for them is cheap energy... coal and gas. They have no real regard for net zero emissions. When they get rich, things might change. Building hundreds of square kms of solar and turbines and the resultant environmental destruction, and the transmission (poles and wires) requirements, are horrendous. Australia's transition to intermittent renewables has been estimated at 1.3 trillion dollars over the next ten years, and that to achieve 50% renewable energy. (Which, on a windless night, supply zero power.) How many schools, hospitals etc. could you build for 1.3T!!? And we have abundant coal, gas and uranium! Electricity is becoming unaffordable, and the poorest will suffer first. People die from cold and heat. I'm in favor of slowly phasing out coal. It's dirty and polluting, but coal dragged mankind out of poverty and was responsible for the industrial revolution. So, what is the problem with nuclear? It has a small environmental impact, zero emissions, and works 24/7. for a hundred years. And it works with the existing transmission grid. Wind and solar last 15 years before requiring a complete rebuild. The crazies will cry "nuclear waste!" and "Chernobyl" and scream in horror of bombs, sucked in by the media hype and self-perpetuating fearmongering. "Do you want to know more?" (Loved that reference in Starship Troopers.) Nuclear waste is negligible, and buried so deep it will never be an issue, and since its inception, including that one stupid cold-war Russian mistake, Nuclear is the safest means of producing energy. Nobody died at Fukashima from radiation after it got smashed by the biggest tsunami ever recorded. Do these anti-nuclear idiots understand that carbon fiber turbine blades cannot be recycled and will be buried in landfill and remain toxic for thousands of years? Solar glass is way more expensive to recycle, and to properly separate the acids, cadmium and lead from the silicon, than it is to start fresh, so that toxic shit ends up in landfill too. And we won't mention the Chinese slaves who mine silicon, with zip OHAS, and die of silicosis lung cancer. As you say Kelsea, it is a mad, mad world. I promise, no more ranting... but that bloody power bill...

The deadpan was definitely what made it so good LOL!!! I love me some deadpan humor. And you're right, I can't believe I didn't mention Mad Max! Neither of us did. That's by far my favorite Hardy film! I'll have to make a note of that when I edit for youtube lol! RIP Stan Lee!! Loved your commentary on woke hollywood and their obsession with global warming and starting over on another planet. It was refreshing. You stated facts a lot of people conveniently overlook. Just recently there's been politicians that will fly a jet somewhere, drive in an SUV motorcade, and then get out a few blocks away and ride their bike up to the conference they're attending for the optics. They think we're all dumb. Oh, and while "sea levels are rising"... Obama, a huge democrat and supporter of all things "climate change" bought a multimillion dollar estate right on the coast. You'd think all the wealthy dems would stop buying beachfront property if they're so scared of the sea levels but.. I digress. ;) I'm ok with some people losing their heads, as long as no puppies were harmed! LOL! It's definitely a fun movie! Tom Hardy is such a good time, I'm glad they got him for this! I didn't notice the guard at the gate but now I need to go see!! LOL! and yes... San Fran is bursting with zombies. :(

That was fun. Brock: "are you going to eat anyone else?" Venom: (deadpan) "most likely." 🀣 On consideration of all things Tom Hardy, you didn't mention Max? You watched that movie only a month ago! Tom will be forever remembered for his most famous line, "My name is Max." In context, it was Oscar worthy. I enjoyed Jarrett geeking-out over all things Marvel. A true fan for sure. R.I.P Stan. We will miss your cameos. You guys covered most things, but as usual I sought the sneaky undertones. Woke Hollywood can't help themselves in referencing the end of mankind and starting afresh on another planet. (Most likely Mars) Global warming (+1.5 degrees) is going to annihilate mankind, and C02 is the culprit!! C02 =0.04 % of earth's atmosphere and the more C02, the better plants thrive, and mankind lives happily forever. (Unless Vlad pushes the red button and then we're fucked). Geek time! The average temp on Mars is -81F (-60C) and the atmosphere consists of 95% C02, and 0.13% oxygen. It would be like living atop Mt Everest in a sealed nylon tent with a pipe from your car's exhaust feeding your screaming lungs, this during the warm months of the Martian year!! So what's with our super rich, the Jeff's, the Elon's and the Richards? Dicks, all of them. Sprouting "save the world and go green" while they spend trillions on rockets and fly private jets around the world. Let sea levels rise! Those dicks would lose their mega waterfront properties and the poor people, six blocks back, would enjoy the ocean, and own stuff. Win, Win, I say. Sorry, I got off track. To answer Kelsea's concern re the destruction of motor vehicles, no cars, or puppies, were harmed (well hardly) in the making of this movie. Some humans were injured, and lost their heads, but they were mostly bad. Great flick guys, and it was fun watching. Cheers. BTW, did you notice the guard at the entry gate? I had no Idea Jarrett had a cameo. You were great, mate! And San Fran is full of zombies.
