Wynonna Earp - Season 2, Episode 12

I mean... That's stupid. Birth is designed to not hurt. We're just all morons. Men took over the birth industry and started shit like the twilight births because they know NOTHING. and so much nonsense has been grandfathered in. Birth hurts because we make it hurt. Because we don't teach women how to have it not hurt. My home births weren't painful at all. My hospital birth I thought I was literally ripping in half until I got my epidural. The medical industry is a business and there's no money in easy births where they don't need to intervene. Interventions are the name of the game. After my home births I literally showered and got dressed and went about my day. Lol. Now.. afterbirth pains??? That's where the pain is. 💀 That's the cramping that happens to shrink your uterus back down after the baby comes out. They get worse with each child and I swear to God my little heated rice bag is all that got me through after my third. Those hurt a million times more than any contractions I had during labor. 💀

a friend and I were recently talking about childbirth, and she said that the pain of childbirth is even higher than the pain that would kill most people, when people would go into SHOCK. But women are equipped to handle it. The physiological and psychological aspects of pain are fascinating to me. Emotional, physical, etc. so interesting

Literally can't!! No wonder her acting was so damn believable that would have felt so crazy to have to act out!

Imagine having to film that emotional birth scene when you’re very pregnant yourself?! Melanie Scrofano (Wynonna) gave birth 4 days after wrapping season 2!!

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THIS. Felt really disappointing and you're right, I just don't think it fits with her character even with how Wynonna treated her. ROSITA WAS BETTER THAN THAT. #justiceforRosita

There are a lot of things I love about this show but one of the things I really can’t stand is their decision to make Rosita betray everyone. Like, yea, Wynonna was mean to her and stuff but Rosita’s character throughout the season was completely opposite to this betrayal. I thought it was an interesting plot point to have a revenant be on their side and they had to go and ruin it with a cliché plot twist (I know this show is very cliché and campy but). Anyways my Rosita rant is over 🫠
