No I'm glad I'm not the only one!! There's been a few scenes like that honestly. Where if the genders were reversed it would be a huge issue, but the show kinda treats it like a joke. I mean, the scene where Rachel RAPES Paul. I felt wildly uncomfortable. But ya that part in the first scene made me really uncomfy too.

When Paul comes home and Sarah basically jumps him to stop him asking questions she can’t answer, that’s a really serious sexual assault, right? I don’t think the BBC would have broadcast that scene if the genders were the opposite way round, not without the episode making it *very* clear this was completely wrong. They play it off almost as a joke though and it makes me feel sick. Obviously, I’m aware they’re just actors pretending, and even more obviously, they both look great and I’d usually enjoy watching a scene like that, but the situation is terrible. I’m glad I’d decided by the second episode’s broadcast date to give the series a chance. I’m glad I continued to watch and am watching again with you. I just wondered what people think of this scene in particular; is it problematic for people generally, or just me?
