Feeling things, can be wonderful and sometimes awful and I appreciated you letting yourself experience all of that while we watch along with you. This movie wrecked me in the best of ways, but I did not get it right away. I was letting it run while cleaning the house and then the scene came up where Marianne places her head softly on Heloise"s shoulder........I stopped....sat down.... and started the film over again to really pay attention. Something SO sweet and romantic in that gesture that caught me by surprise, and then after sobbing my eyes out by the end it , it is now my favorite film. All the wonderful things about Portrait have already been added but thanks for choosing this one. Celine and these women are all amazing. Poets and lovers should all get happy endings but sadly...........I will take your fanfiction ending any day though : ) Thanks!

And someone asked her βwhatβs it for, is it for cleaning after sex?β And I still remember her face got super red and embarrassed and she said quickly, βYes, itβs for sex.β π€£π€£π€£π€£ She was adorable!
