I totally agree! I'm honored to have you cry with me! 🀣 I'm a huge crier! This movie was so good and I think it did such a great job at saying what it wanted to say without making it feel like it was one of those movies that was capitalizing on the drama of covid you know? Like you said, it felt like while it was about that, it REALLY was about so much more at the same time. I still can't believe this was written for them to work together and it ended up being so good.

Thanks for letting me cry with you, finally someone to share this film experience with - I've seen it before but I loved the re-watch because it's so relevant and touching. I have insomnia and so I just went through a lot of patreon stuff. I think this is such a good and relevant film, it leaves you thinking about all the issues, not only Covid, which is just an added factor here, but care homes in general. And how we see "these" kinds of people and look at "these" kinds of jobs. I love that both Jodie and Stephen wanted to work together and it came to fruition in something they both believed in. Stephen helped launch her career in a way and as a fellow Scouser he also told her to keep her accent. Which I love. It's so great to hear her act with her real accent, maybe even more pronounced? But I guess when she's home she just really lets it loose LOL. I know what it means to have an accent and not speak it or tone it down because I've grown up speaking a distinct accent as well, and in school, or for anything "official", or your job, or depending on the people you talk to, you neglect it or tone it down. It really saddens me that kids growing up today can't even speak in that / their accent anymore because in a way it's deemed lower class and so their parents don't speak to them like that.

Jokes aside, we will desperately need a Free Guy reaction vid when Killing Eve is over..
