Also after having some time to think about it I ended up changing the middle panels before going to inkwash. I know not everyone was unhappy with them, but after reading the responses I felt like they didn't help the awkward tension I was going for. I stand by Gannet not getting overly angry here tho. He wasn't prepared for this at all and I honestly think he just wouldn't know how to feel atm. Let it simmer.
Y'all are always welcome to give me criticism with something you're unhappy with. I may or may not listen or respond to it but I do read it and it doesn't hurt my feelings at all as long as it's constructive. Webcomics are weird bc I am my own editor and sometimes I just don't catch something whether its spelling errors or awkward dialogue. I have public comments turned off bc I literally never got constructive criticism worth listening to there PLUS I had to deal with internet scum being awful just for the sake of being awful. I always read Patreon comments tho and look forward to doing so! :)
