I definitely think Daredevil is different enough from the actual MCU to still feel fresh, it has a really different tone. It's an excellent series, sounds like it's not really required watching before the new version comes out but well worth watching in it's own right. I didn't really know anything about Daredevil before watching the first series, and by the end of it I was making a fan film :)

Plus we are getting a daredevil show with at least main actor in upcoming series set in this marvel universe. Though it wonβt be as gritty and dark as the Netflix one
