My first ever collaboration!

I wanted to let you know first (before YouTube members) that I will be doing a collaboration with Diegesis (Diegesis - YouTube).
We will be debating about Twin Movies: Surrogates vs Avatar! 🤩
In order to do so, I have to watch Surrogates. I did watch Avatar when released in theathers (2009).
I would like to know if you'd want me to live rewatch it along with you. Same thing for Surrogates, since I would love to transfer your thoughts when I debate/chat with Diegesis about these two movies.

I still refuse to ever see "Avatar." From what I've gathered, it's basically a self-important amalgam of "Dances with Wolves," "FernGully: The Last Rain Forest," and the Pocahontas/John Smith story, with 'tall blue cat people' standing in for the Native Americans. No, thanks. I probably wouldn't object to seeing "Surrogates" as a time-killer on TV or something, since Jonathan Mostow is a pretty sound for-hire action filmmaker ("Breakdown," "U-571," "Terminator 3"), but I don't think I'd ever go out of my way to see it. And, yeah, I might just watch the discussion rather than the reactions.

I was never interested enough in Surrogates to see it and probably wouldn’t watch Avatar again on its own (though I saw it a couple times in theaters when I was more impressed with the newness of 3D that isn’t just tacked on and actually added something) but could see giving them a shot with a reaction. But that aside, I’ve really liked what I’ve seen of Diegesis’s reactions/discussions with their mix of comments about the filmmaking choices and they seem like a great match to collab with! I’m actually more interested in the discussion about them than the movies themselves.
