Early Access to "THE GOONIES": it's adorable! - First Time Watching

In this video, I am watching for the first time a pure fantasy story made for children. I think this is the first watch-along of a movie that it's exclusive for children.
This doesn't mean an adult or a parent can not enjoy it, but we've lost the imagination in which we believe everything works by just saying it, and that a few precious minerals can save an entire neighborhood. This is a movie that has to be enjoyed the way it is: no logic, just pure joy, and adventure.
The best part of the movie, IMO? Slot and Chunk... they are the real heroes and their friendship is just beautiful

Mikey was also Sam in LOTR, if you didn't already know. (And Data was Shorty in "Temple of Doom" the year prior to this.) Phys. Ed. = physical education, or gym class, basically. I'd also recommend "The Sandlot" for a future poll. It's pretty much the "Goonies" of the '90s in terms of showing strong camaraderie among young friends. I hope you're recovering nicely. 🤗
