This movie (in my opinion) needs to explain a few things that happened at the start of it, but other than that, I think the plot is a great idea.
I know there is a second movie and may contain the answer, but after watching this one: did you believe that the airplane pilot saved them or not?

I imagine you've had your fill of zombie movies for a while (though I hope you definitely react to the original "Night of the Living Dead" and "Dawn of the Dead" movies by George A. Romero at some point).
