I'm a water kinda guy :) But I do think the Fire Nation has the best fashion :D

You're right about Katara's power, I completely forgot at that moment she needed the full moon. Silly me... 😵 About the Zutara relation (I like the name), as I said mentioned earlier, I am sure there was an initial intention on putting Zuko and Katara. Even in book 1 something tells me that the fortune teller didn't mean Aang to be her lover, though it was going to be a great master of its bending or something like that. I swear to God when Katara and Zuko met I was like "YOU TWO ARE MEANT FOR EACH OTHER!!!!!! NOW KISS!!!!!!" but in the end, Aang had to be happy and have someone. Toph didn't seem to be the right answer for some reason. And they've never added anyone else in the show that could change his mind.

I am pretty sure the producers had the intention to put Zuko and Katara together, but they've probably noticed there was no one for Aang and we can't have him sad, so things had to take a turn and make Katara stay with Aang. I think I resonate with Fire, but used in a good way, as the ancient firebenders. And you? :)

There’s another reaction channel that’s doing this show called Cinebinge. One of them is actually from China so not only can he read the writing when it appears, he knows the history and legends that a lot of this is based on. It’s really interesting, you should check it out. I did start to pity Azula there. I think I started to in the beach episode where when she has a chance to be a normal teenager for a while, she literally can’t because she never learned how. She’s a more extreme version of what Zuko was in season 1, head so filled with her father’s insanity she can’t see the world for what it is. And when her plans begin to break down, she’s utterly unable to handle it. You were wondering why Katara didn’t blood bend Azula. If you recall, that could only be done at the full moon and even if it were the full moon now, the comet may be giving her enough power to overcome that. I have to say, I think you’re the only Zutara shipper to willingly let go of it. Most others it seems held on to it to the bitter end. Anyway, glad you enjoyed it so much. It fun watching you discover it. Looking forward to the next one.

Brilliant guess about blocking Ozai's bending :) I do pity Azula. Although she is the product of a bad father, I do think in order for her to redeem herself, she would need to take ownership of what she did. Her redemption would be a lot harder than Zuko's - but perhaps with the help of Iroh and Zuko, she could start to pay for her sins. Definitely agree with you that this show is in a class of it's own, and not just among "children's" cartoons (although that makes it especially unique). There are live action shows pitched at adults that could learn a lot from ATLA. I think you'll find you weren't the only one who liked the idea of Zuko and Katara getting together :D There were a fair number of... passionate... people that weren't particularly happy about how that turned out. I didn't really see it that way, but just wanted to mention that you definitely weren't alone there! I think The Legend of Korra is worth watching, but it's just hard to come after something as almost perfect as this show. Thanks for watching this show - I know it was a bit of a leap and you weren't sure what you'd be in for. I am curious - now that you've seen it, which Element do you resonate with the most?
