Full Reaction to Alita Battle Angel

Here is the full reaction to the last movie voted on the poll of mid-July.
I enjoyed this movie, but I felt there were a lot of things yet to be explained. I thought there has to be a second movie and by now there should be a release date or info. Unfortunately what I have found is that Disney bought Fox and at this moment there seems to be no intention of working on it.
I also discovered that this is based on a manga by Yukito Kishiro, so if I don't find my information in a sequel, I'll definitely end up discovering it in the manga ๐
We'll see how things go through. Until then, I hope that you enjoy it!

Claire connected Alita's heart to Hugo's head to keep his brain (and therefore his mind) alive. She did not remove it, she just connected it via the tubes in Alita's chest. This is why you see Alita carry Hugo's head in her arm covered by the coat to hid the connection. The doctor just carried the remains of his body in the bag. But of course, the body is dead. Remember Alita is a Cybrog, short for Cybernetic-organism. Her brain is living tissue, which is why she has to eat to keep herself alive. Many humans have some cybernetic attachments or implants in Alita's world.
