"How did they talk with people on earth before they leave" They had a radio dish for that, and that very dish is what knocked Matt Damon out of the congo line as they were walking to the ship, and I guess it also took out the backup dish.

First there is Bucky (Sebastian Stan), the guy who had a baby at the end, then there is the NASA director who played Harry in "Dumb and Dumber" (never imagined him as a drama actor but he is a great one too) and last but not least Matt Damon himself was also in Interstellar along with the redhead (Jessica Chastain), he played Dr Mann, the guy they rescue from the icy planet. Also he was Private Ryan on Saving Private Ryan, and I'm sure you will see more of him. At least you did recognize Sean Bean! (Ned Stark) I'm proud of you and your improving memory! This movie was a blast! looking forward to the next ones!
