Here's my early access to The Green Mile 😊
Where do I start...? I always believed Coffey was an angel without even knowing he had that miraculous power... We need more people like him. Not with the power, just nice and innocent people who need a light in the dark because it can get scary 🥺
We need more people that care about the good of others and push away the bad. People who perhaps know nothing at all but will learn everything there is to learn to help. People who love purely and not lustily.
Can we make a list of awesome people? I'll start

Very minor, at best, since we already know Paul outlives them all anyway. If I really wanted to spoil things, I would've spelled out each character's fate.

2021-07-12 00:00:51 +0000 UTCWhen this movie first came out on home video, my dad and I were so affected by it that we watched it *3* times before returning it to the video rental place. That's Gary Sinise (aka Lt. Dan) as the lawyer. This is the third movie in less than 5 years' time in which he co-starred with Tom Hanks, after "Forrest Gump" and "Apollo 13." You learn the crimes that Del and Arlen committed in the book (I won't spoil them for you in the event you ever want to read it). Suffice it to say, I think it was for the best in this movie that they not be revealed so as to feel more sympathetic for them (as with Brooks in "The Shawshank Redemption"). You also learn the fates of the other characters... tragically, none of whom end up dying of old age.
