This is one of those movies that are difficult to digest, and sincerely you will never hear from me the phrase "I like the movie". It's not about liking it, it's about learning from it. It's too violent to "enjoy", but a good reminder of what our grand-grandparents did for us, and how many never ever got to see their children (if they managed to have children before leaving). I can't help but think about how alone and desperate everyone must have felt, and how many still suffer and feel this way nowadays.
So I can't say "I hope you enjoy it", but I will say "May we never experience it"!

Love your review! If you ever feel like watching another war film that really explores the idea that there arenβt good guys and bad guys, thereβs just people killing other people, check out Fury. Itβs not as graphic but itβs shows more of the raw humanity or lack thereof.
