As I have mentioned before, this is by far my favorite character. And many have explained in YouTube comments that in the movie he looks way better than he does in the comics. I still wouldn't mind. I would simply take care of his wounds (although his body regenerates pretty well by itself, but at least I can decrease the pain... πΌπΌ)
Also, thank you for letting me know that it's his cancer that makes him look this way. I thought it was burned skin and couldn't figure out why his body always looked the same after it regenerated π

It's a shame you missed so many references, especially the post-credit ones. That's why people strongly recommend that people watch Deadpool chronologically along with the other X-Men universe movies. Fortunately, even without the references there is a lot left to enjoy.

2022-04-21 00:42:54 +0000 UTCCable was not inspired by Cyberpunk 2077. His character was introduced in the mid 80's, just a few decades prior to Cyberpunk 2077. Now, there could be some argument that the character drew inspiration from the cyberpunk genre, which also was a mid-80's thing, but the reverse is also true - cyberpunk being inspire by the new wave genre from the 60's and 70's, with a lot of its presentation being made in comic form.
