Early Access to Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls

Hello everyone!

Friday is the day I just want to be lazy along with Saturday and Sunday. Just to complain that the next day is Monday πŸ˜‚

Here's my Early Access to the last movie of Indiana Jones. Can't wait for the fifth movie. How do you think it's going to be: good, bad...?

Despite this movie had some inconsistencies, I liked it. I know it's not a popular opinion, please don't hate me πŸ‘ΌπŸΌ

I hope you enjoy it! Stay safe πŸ˜‚πŸ’–

I'm still hoping Indy 5 doesn't happen. I mean, with zero involvement from Lucas, Spielberg not in the director's chair, Ford pushing 80, and given how the new Lucasfilm regime totally didn't understand the Star Wars saga, what's the point?

Yup, I don't know what to tell folks either. Getting to see a new Indiana Jones movie in theaters with my dad was something neither of us expected to do again after "The Last Crusade." But it was a treat we both relished. Re-watching it on my own and examining it with a more scrutinizing eye, I still can't see how it got so much negativity and hate piled on it. They continued the father/son dynamic in a new way, once again offered up a clever spin on existing unexplained artifacts, and they brought the best girl back. Yes George Lucas's insistence on the plot being what it is and pushing all the digital technology gave Spielberg some headaches; yes Cate Blanchett is less memorable than previous villains. But seriously? The fridge scene is really what drives people over the edge? Indy surviving a free-fall from an airplane onto a mountain slope in an inflatable raft pretty much set the bar for most unbelievable shtick to expect from this universe back in "Temple of Doom." In the end, it's still a fun time I’ll happily tune in to watch anytime it pops up. I only hope that the forthcoming final sequel fitfully ends the series.

It’s all good Duaffy, you’re allowed to like what you like! I think for me the nuke proof fridge in the beginning was just too dumb and set the tone for the rest of the movie. I also though Mutt swinging like Tarzan was pretty dumb. The villain is the most stereotypical Russian ever, and to me the movie just seems like it was lazily written and doesn’t respect its audience.
