Full Reaction to Thor: Ragnarok

Hi everyone!

I am happy to say I managed to render again, let's see for how long it works. The problem is not solved, unfortunately. I just managed to discover a small trick after reading and talking in forums 😁

Here's my full reaction to this another pleasant Marvel movie. I have to admit I ended up completely confused about Scruge's true intentions until I saw his final action πŸ₯Ί

Hope you enjoy it! Stay safe πŸ’–

Thank you for your concern. It's not fear, it's emphathy. If I am previously warned of the possibility of gore or pain, I am mentally prepared. I watched surgical procedures and I feel nothing, and 1 year ago I had to keep a young man concentrated on me while the ambulance was arriving (awful car accident that happened right in front of me in the highway). He was covered in blood, screaming "mom, mom, mom I am dying!", and I swear I couldn't see his legs (and he was alone in the car). My problem comes when I have no awareness of how far the graphical part can go, or when I see needles. I can watch a needle sting me, but again: I am mentally prepared for it. Instead, if something stingy touches me without warning I can feel a huge pain despite I was never, in fact, stung. Same thing if I see something on somebody unexpectedly: when I saw the car accident in front of me, I knew nothing good could come out of it. But a movie, I never know how far it can go, or what it can show in the next scene. Rest assured though that for Daredevil, I am more prepared now ☺️

I have some advice for you when it comes to you freaking out over people getting injured...just tell yourself to stop feeling that way and you won't. JUST STOP. plain and simple. Your brain doesn't control you, you control your brain. I used to be deathly afraid of heights, until I got to a point where I said NO MORE, and I told myself I wasn't going to be afraid of heights anymore. You can do the same thing, just face your fear and do it.

Since nobody else mentioned it here, and in case somebody didn't fill you in elsewhere: you asked about The Grandmaster. In the comics, he is one of what is known as "Elders of the Universe", created back near the time of the Big Bang. There are a number of them, and you've met another already : The Collector. In the comics, they were different species, but in the MCU The Grandmaster and The Collector are brothers. It's been a while since you saw The Collector, but if you looked up pictures of him, you'd see that he has a very similar style as The Grandmaster - namely the eyeliner and the colored stripe on the lower lip and chin.
