UPDATE: this is the only news I found at the moment. the picture said machinery has cut the internet supply which is under a highway, and it's a global issue concerning my geographical area plus an important part of Catalonia. Any other news I'll report ASAP.
I have really bad news and I don't know how to express it. Some construction team working on the highway of my geographical point has accidentally cut the whole internet fiber. Half of Catalonia (region from Spain) has no internet, except for our mobile data. They are working on it for 9 hours already. Hospitals, companies, cities... We're all off. I can't stream, but I don't know when I can upload videos even. It is literally insane... And there's no news about it on the internet because obviously: no internet (almost everyone has fiber). I am still trying to find if some newspaper out of Catalonia informs about it to at least send it to you. I really don't want to be in the place of the man who made such a huge mistake... The thing is: they are not even assuring this will be solved by tomorrow. I will record the conversation with the company tomorrow morning in case I don't find any news online, so you will see I am not kidding...
I apologize from the bottom of my heart. I hope this will be solved ASAP.

My favorite artist of ALL TIME lived in Barcelona. The architect, Antoni Gaudi. How very cool it is that you live in that region, even if the internet is currently down.

Year before last AT&T had their underground trunk lines cut some three separate times by digging teams who failed to research their spots, putting our whole county out for days on end. My store would suddenly be unable to use cards until we got our backup ISP going. Was really annoying.

It seems that 2h ago some technicians went to test an alternative until they resolve the issue. But that's all the update I've found on instagram. There is no online newspaper reporting this issue.
