Personally, the more human voices REALLY worked for me and I would pay for that. I think the key is that I'm naturally submissive so I like being told what to do so I am not 'recontextualizing into my own thoughts' but I totally understand why the robotic voices work for some....

2024-05-12 17:52:09 +0000 UTCI kind of feel the same as far as my personal preferences for hypnosis go. The more robotic voices are just more “neutral” in my mind and easier to digest and listen to. But I thought I’d try out a different voice just to see people’s thoughts!

Edit: Further elaborating; the robotic / computer voices are easier for me to relax to than a real voice telling me what to do and what to think. The robotic / computer voices are easier to recontextualize into my own thoughts. I hope that explains well enough. I really do appreciate the variety and options provided by the older computer voices. Edit 2: Also, this one not matching phase 1 in voice is very jarring and takes me out of the experience.
