I received the book in the mail last week and I've finally read beyond this post's content. I'm currently on page 214, started reading over from the beginning.
I'm trying to take my time with the book, as I know I have a bit of a wait for book 4. I made comments earlier in the year about how the flow of the story is different from the first two books and I think the increased pace works very well, given the nature of War.
I'm not very good with literary critique, just wanted to say I love the the story so far. Characters feel all well developed and I love them (I might be biased 'cause he's a fox), the themes are spot on with my interests (Supernatural, historical fiction, anthro character descriptions and actions...), and your forcing me to look up words I don't know the meaning of.
Looking forward to finishing the story in a week or so. Definitely a few pages every so often of heart pounding intensity force me to slow down!
