Angel - 3x19 “The Price” FULL REACTION

Not my favorite episode, and the whole Cordelia resolution felt cheap.

No one needs to be told what a great actress Amy Acker is, but her performance in this is great. Whenever she gets damseled, I think it's mainly because it gives her the emotional spotlight, which she can always knock out of the park. Everyone else is a great actor too, but with their particular skillsets, I can't really imagine anyone else getting infected having the same effect.

Yeah it's usually rated pretty low on IMDb and I never really got that, I think it's a great episode. Any super horror-y episode of Angel is gonna get my vote, it wasn't as good or complex as Billy but it had similar vibes that I think work really well with this show.

Tiny thing but Wesley was in the previous episode, he just didn't have any lines. For me, The Price is one of the highlights of the season. It advances the main plot, the emotional arcs of all the characters, and has a unique vibe and aesthetic that's really enjoyable to watch. Best of all worlds. Except for Quortoth, I suppose.
