I wonder who came first, Terry from "Dollhouse," or Dandy from "American Horror Story"?

I really like this episode. I think it’s the first season 2 episode that really draws me in. Enver is just amazing anytime he gets a chance to shine in this show. His switch from Terry to Kiki is amazing. Also, I like how Topher coming up with that remote wipe strategy on the fly was done in this episode out of good intentions. But it’s the first step towards the technology that we saw in Epitaph One. It is heartbreaking to know that him doing that as a means to stop a serial killer will contribute to the end of civilization as we know it. Anyways, glad to hear that Dollhouse is in the rotation permanently.

The only thing I really appreciated about the professor bits was how they were paralleling him and Terry. Both of them constructed scenarios where they have complete control over women, but they speak as though the women are the ones in control. Both of their fantasies are based on a specific kind of misogyny, one that believes men are powerless to women's "charms" or whatever and therefore not responsible for their actions. The professor didn't kill anybody, but he is otherwise not radically different from Terry. Neither of them could get what they wanted from the "real" women in their lives so they got substitutes to exercise control over.

Regarding you're thoughts about Topher and knowing the future that awaits him: I'd argue that in dabbling with a way to remote wipe Victor, you just witnessed him take his first stumbling steps onto that path.

Enver Gjokaj is seriously the most amazing actor. I loved seeing him in the two roles (omg Victor!Kiki). And while swapping the identities seems like just another way to make Echo the center of the story again, she's the only one who could have given us the context of what Terry was actually doing, since she still has access to the other identities that Alpha dumped into her head (plus the still-evolving Echo persona itself). The end also implies that Terry has been added to the mix, which is kind of terrifying.
