Buffy the Vampire Slayer - 6x11 “Gone” FULL REACTION

Thank you Liam! Love all of your reactions! I’ve watched Buffy all the way through so many times. The most recent time was with my 14 year old son who was seeing it for the first time. The line at the end of the fight: Warren: “Next time.... Next Time” Jonathan: “Maybe Not!!” made us both bust out laughing! I’ve never laughed at that line before. But for some reason this time it struck me as super funny. Every time I watch the series through I get something new from it.

There is about 1% psychopaths, couple % sociopaths, 10% are filled with empathy, and majority of the rest are manipulated by the rulers (who mostly belong in the psycho-sociopath territory) to become ignorant and selfish. These people would have empathy etc. if we had better system that prevents psychos and sociopaths from getting in any position where they can cause harm. And that system would be pretty easy to build.

I NEVER comment on internet things. I am not in Twitter and don’t really care to share my opinions with people I don’t know. But I just saw the beginning of this video and it upset me terribly that apparently people have been rude to you in the comments. I suppose that comes with the territory, but I cannot fathom why someone would go out of their way to be cruel to such a wonderful, smart, sensitive, funny, clearly kind man like you. So pleased to see you back, Liam! Its an odd episode for sure, but there are some big little moments which I love. Willow dealing with giving up magic, the withdrawals, but she is fighting and trying so hard! Buffy learning she DOES want to be here after all... even if life is hard and not all that fun right now. Even something as small as Spike *trying* to say good things to the social worker and later trying to kick Buffy out his place "If I can't have all of you (if I can't have you for real).." I'm still surprised that she chose to go to him. This one isn't spur of the moment, mid-fight. This was premeditated by Buffy. Dawn is having a really bad time. She got what she wanted by having her sister back, but none of them expected the depression and fallout and distraction. Dawn is feeling pretty lonely and left out, and like she isn't important to anyone until something bad happens. I agree with all your points about Dawn being 'naughty' to try and get some kind of attention. I still love the trio and find them funny. Warren is definitely the more 'bad' of the three. Jonathan and Andrew are like silly followers, its all a bit of a game or a comic book to them. But Warren is taking this all seriously, and was willing to kill Buffy... Definitely getting power mad. I was glad that Jonathan stood up to him. Great reaction as always! Looking forward to more Buffyverse from you :)

I'm happy to see you back! I love this episode. I'm not going to make any kind of argument that it's one of the best, but I love the whimsy of it. I love the scene in the arcade, how the camera just keeps following each of the characters the same way it would if we could actually see them. I just think it's a fun, funny episode.

That's true. But then again, he's also afraid of what Warren and what he'll do if he leaves. He's stuck with them unless he manages to escape and get to Buffy's and just ask her to forgive him for being part of the Trio. But it goes to show that he's not the criminal minded one out of the three; Warren is. If I were him, he should cut ties with someone who's capable of actually killing someone. Big red flag there. He might as well team up with Buffy... like pull a Spike season 4 stunt, get hostage temporarily to give intel on Warren's plans. lol

Welcome back! ... Well this episode always reminds me of an episode of a certain other show, what with the hero being turned invisible and the invisibility slowly causing you to fade out of existence and even the holding up two objects that look like eyes for a visual gag. 👀 But it’s really a fun episode and even has a moment of important arc progression as Buffy learns of her nemeses. I do think though that the fact that Warren was trying to actually kill Buffy should have ended the association for Johnathan. 🤷🏻‍♂️
