Agreed more Leverage reactors are needed.

LOVE Christian Kane! I do hope you react to Leverage someday! An absolutely underrated show, that Christian Kane is in! So so good, one of my all time favorite shows!

Interactions among Lindsey, Lilah, and Angel are generally pretty zesty.

I like this episode a lot--Kane did a great job developing Lindsay over a couple of seasons, and here is all of it coming together. Even at the end, you're not sure where he stands, but you also can't dismiss the fact that he said, "I'm tired of this" to his bosses. He's maybe not redeemed in a deep sense like Faith, but he also never fell as far. He's just HAD IT with W&H and constantly being asked to re-define where he draws lines. He's not likely to come to Angel's side, if for no other reason than that Angel does not ever offer him a friendly... er, well, I was going to say a friendly hand, but that's weird with the episode, isn't it? But Lindsay would have to notice that the guy who routinely forgives murderers and demons who have shown a desire to change wouldn't even listen to him when he tried to explain himself. Lindsay comes off as a genuinely free agent, beholden neither to evil nor to good. He judges each situation, mostly on the basis of "What's good for Lindsay," but at the same time, does seem to have some bedrock notion that there are things that are beyond the pale, even in his own interest--and even that may be in the self-interest of protecting what's left of his own soul. And yet, within that self-interest, he is very believable when he does decide to come down on Angel's team, because it's totally within the bounds of the character as established. It's good writing and good acting. (And economic writing and acting; it's not like he gets all that much screen time to define it!)

Besides acting, Christian Kane is also an established singer-songwriter. Here is that song from the Angel Episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0h2P7j_KtI And you can find some of his band's songs here: https://www.youtube.com/user/ChristianKane#p/u Enjoy.

I love this episode. Despite how outwardly emotional he is, Lindsey is a difficult character to figure out. The breaking point for him here I think wasn't just that he knew Brad, but that they were in the same position once upon a time. His empathy stretched to include someone *like him* and if Lindsey hadn't already been profoundly unhappy at W&H, I'm not sure he'd have made the same choice. I can totally see him still putting Brad out of his misery, but I don't think that would have been a dealbreaker if this had happened in s1 when he was still generally happy working there. I'm sure there's some metaphor stuff going on with Lindsey relating to the guy kept alive only because he's useful to W&H, but it's really interesting either way.

The first episode that made me enjoy Lindsey, and of course, it turns out to be his last. The evil hand routine is what won me over, except for the extreme sexism of calling Lilah a chick and a girl and then groping her. But other than that, if they had given Lindsey a sense of humor before, I would have liked him more. I am glad that he's gone though because the testosterone fest between him and Angel got really old.

I was surprised that you were unaware that that was actually Christian Kane singing (and playing guitar). I had been thinking you mentioned the show "Leverage" in the past, where Kane played Eliot Spencer, and there was an episode on that where Eliot was a rising country star. Huh, maybe I'm mixing you up with someone else.

The banter between Angel and Lindsey feels so authentic because David and Christian are great friends in real life, and had been since before the show. :)

I've always loved this episode and glad that you like it too but i can't help wondering what it would have been like to have seen Christian play the part of Riley as he auditioned for that before being cast as Lindsey..🤔 I suspect that Riley would have gotten way more love if played by Christian 😂 I can't really imagine him playing anyone other than Lindsey though, he does it so well 😍 Another great reaction Liam, Thank you 😚

That’s Christian Kane’s voice, all right.
