Enemy - Definitive Edition Director's Cut

On page 12 of Enemy, from 2020, I realized I had our human gentleman cutting wood with what looked like a war axe, instead of a proper wood cutting axe. It bothered me for a while the more I thought about it. I'm not sure why I originally did that. But after I noticed it, I had to change it.

So, I fixed it after work today, to something more proper. If you want to update your copy of it, you can download it as a zip in the back issue post here:

Enemy - Definitive Edition Director's Cut

He's not chopping with it. It's fine. Probably just holding it. Looking at it. Throwing it a stump once in a while.

It didn't occur to me until you pointed it out, but now that you mention it there's still that same battle axe head on 24 and 25 ;)

Tib

Still favorite comic

Infamous Paradox

I redrew it on the original sheet and scanned it in and spliced it on top of the line art, then altered the coloring and shading appropriately.

Jay Naylor

Thanks for that, Jay. I'd like to know more of the process. Did you just paste a new axe head over the original?

Tam Barlas

Heh, such a little detail but still worth caring about. XD I still hope for "Enemy - Chapter Two" where we see more of Rayka and her new family.

RanaMcNeil

The fact that such a detail bothered you that much shows me how much you care

Rose Head

Great comic. I hope they're still together with their baby.

Twin_Stiletto

Let's hope there is more Cottonwine this year... Maybe the fabled The Mission 2: Horse code !!

Lordtesticulus

What a particular thing to notice all these years later hehe well we appreciate your meticulous detail on the measure our handsome viking uses to chop wood when he’s not laying the wood into Rayka hehe

pokediginut

One of my favourite comics.
