Full Reaction Changes!

Just switching from .mov to .mp4 won’t make a size difference. Both are just containers. What matters is the format (preferably h.264 and ACC] and compression algorithm used on the video and audio, respectively. A good video file compressor app could squeeze a lot out of your videos (your couch, the wall behind, and usually your t-shirt spend long stretches of the video unchanged, so really don’t need to be rendered in every frame). When I download your videos because I want to watch them on my TV (occasionally, selected episodes), I have to run them through a compression algorithm to get them under 4GB so they fit on a flash drive my TV will recognize. On my computer I use a free app called Handbrake to do this, and it reduces the files to about 1/3 of the size with no detectable loss of visual quality or clarity. If you don’t have a laptop, there are some apps for pad devices that do the same (see Video Compressor-Shrink videos by NIU LIXUAN https://apps.apple.com/us/app/video-compressor-shrink-videos/id1133417726 for example). Yes it adds processing time locally, but it should reduce upload time and processing time on Google Drive/Dropbox and allow you to store more because smaller files. That said, I’m not wild about you leaving off the afterthoughts here and forcing us to YouTube for them. With you—far more than with most reactors I’ve watched—the afterthoughts are really the cake, and the full reactions are the icing. If you wanted to upload them separately here, that would be cool, but to not have them here at all would be a real loss.

Awesome. The less deletes the better. If you can you should try to upload full reactions for all your shows there so that old and newpatrons have access to the shows/reactions no matter when they join. (Totally a long job though and you might not even have some of the older reactions lol, but just an idea!)

To be fair, And please forgive me if this sounds blunt. We are here to support you, But also to get full versions of content. I personally don't want to click on a full reaction and then have to go to YouTube to see your thoughts, I'd much rather have it you include your thoughts within the full release. I'm sorry this comes off as blunt, But I just don't personally find it fair, As most of us (I think?) would love to see your thoughts unfiltered by having to click a video. The benefit of a full reaction is to get the full version including your thoughts at the end. If the problem is space - then I would probably suggest raising the price for full reactions a little Right now they're $3 right, and that's nice and sweet and cheap but as you grow and expand on other shows that $3 becomes more and more valuable because of the ever growing content you'll have. If you don't have the money to sustain that, then raising the price a little (even just a couple dollars) could be the difference between having all of your reactions full and intact without having to constantly delete them. It kinda upsets me a little that the content was there (the after thoughts) and isn't going to be anymore and it kinda feels like idk maybe like okay this sounds silly... but full reactions with after thoughts was like the full cookie and it was great and now it feels like we only get half the cookie lol okay i suck explaining and i hope i dont offend in any way. Its completely up to you whatever you choose to do, but these are my thoughts on the matter.

I was expecting you to raise your prices for full reactions, I appreciate you being cheaper than most others but as a quality reactor I think you should consider it! Once I'm working again I'm definitely going to up my tier as you deserve more than I pay 🙄 Keep up the good work Liam 😍

Dropbox is definitely better as far as speed to download videos go. I think it would work much better for you. I know a few other reactors I follow who use Dropbox as well and it seems to work really well for them too. That would be wonderful!
