2023-10-10 01:18:56 +0000 UTCthis 100%!! they're my favorite tv couple because of how realistic they are. what brought them together (their friendship) is still the forefront and foundation of their relationship. it's just written so well! i feel like this episode was kind of self aware and poking fun at that. like they know they're so solid and well written but they wanted to have a bit of fun and make an episode where they're just kind of a disaster lol i love it!

2023-10-10 01:08:55 +0000 UTCI love Jim and Pam as a couple. And I'm not the biggest fan of Jim seperately, but together they are great. It's because they don't make a big deal about it and they're just like before - friends. I hate it when characters get together in TV shows and it suddenly changes their entire dynamic. Or it changes the personality of the individual character. Like they just become totally different people. And that can turn the into very boring characters. (Glenn & Maggie from TWD are the best example for that. Where did fun and awkward Glenn from season 1 and 2 go? Getting with Maggie turned him into this overly serious and bland character, that cared about nothing else but Maggie. And besides that he he had no personality. He was nothing like that in season 1! And he became really boring.) Jim and Pam are the exact opposite of that, because they stay the same. I'm also not a fan of the over the top forced relationship drama. So to see a couple that is not like that, but instead act like their best buddies, just like they always were, is just a breath of fresh air. I'm a bit sad that you don't see that and what sets them apart from many other couples. That being said, I loved how they both failed so miserably in this episode. ππ
