I've never liked the Riley character or what it meant to the story with Ellie in the game because she looked so much younger. With this actress and the solid performances I think it's a better result. Riley is 16 and Ellie is 14 and that's a bit young for romantic storylines for my preference. The thing is, the actresses are clearly older and that is all I need to "let it slide" I suppose. Truly though, I'd rather had it been an older sister or brother type scenario. Even a 19 year old claiming to be 14 is a little offputting for me. Bump up the ages in the story by 2 years and I'm just fine with it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
