Idk why I feel like an asshat for doing this.
Why:
I’ve been charging 3 $ since I started on Patreon in 2018. I think my art has been worth more for a while, but I never got around to charging more. I’ve been getting steady 2000 $/month for the last two years. I’m very grateful for all of this, and 2k from my own art is worth more than 4k from working for someone else. With all monthly expenses paid, I always still had some left over, so I didn’t feel anxious about it.
However, I’m just about to buy our first house with my partner. There’s a lot of renovation needed, and as you all know, the cost of living and inflation have skyrocketed lately. So, I think I need to grow beyond that 2k, and rising the base price is the first step I'm going to take.
I’m also planning on giving more benefits for higher tier patrons, more on that later. 😘

Well, the other tiers don’t really have any benefits at the moment. 😅 I think I’ll remove the 1 $ tier since it includes nothing, Base tier is 5 $ and 10 $ tier gets WIP previews, or something like that. I might figure out something extra for the higher tiers, not sure.
