2025-11-22 02:06:51 +0000 UTCAh, this classic! In point of fact, it actually IS illegal to hide bodies even if you're not the one who murdered them. There's a lot of overlapping laws, but it's illegal to "improperly" dispose of human remains no matter how they died, if there was a crime then it's also considered hiding evidence, and possibly accessory after the fact. You could probably stack a few more laws on top as well. There are SO MANY references and homages to older horror films, which adds so much extra flavor. For example, when Tucker is running with the chainsaw after hitting the bee's nest, he does "the spin" which Leatherface does in "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre". What I think is my favorite touch in this film is how they change the lighting and cinematography when we're seeing from the "college kids" perspectuve. It's shot like a horror movie (A cheesy, corny horror movie), with a blue filter even during the daytime and a bunch fo fog that disappears when we leave their perspective. So we can see that they are "seeing" a horror movie.

Dale is amazing and he deserves everything good in this world! and Tucker "chasing" the guy with the chainsaw was so funny, and then him pouring beer on his injuries 😂 easily one of if not the best horror comedy movie ive seen, so thank you for this! :)
