Just imagine, Helly's last memory was getting tackled on stage followed by being woken up in ice cold water. Anyway, with Irving's ability to put things together, his icy questioning, the way he dunked Helena without thinking twice - it makes me really wonder about his backstory. We know his outite has military experience, but what elese? And how much does Helena hate her life? - "I did't link who I was out there. I was ashamed".

I don't know, I also didn't see it coming. I don't think it's that obvious per se, as in there isn't that much actual foreshadowing. I think most of the people that saw it coming, or at least thought it might, are people that are not only observant, but also mistrustful of any narrative they're presented with and are often waiting for the twist. Which isn't a bad thing necessarily, it does make you more aware of the things that can or could happen, but those people generally also theorize wildly and expect twists to happen where there just aren't any. So by predicting all possible twists, you happen to "see coming" the actual twists, even though those twists weren't necessarily more likely than the ones that didn't pan out just based on the evidence.
I guess I just go in a bit more innocently, try to observe what there is to observe, but I don't generally theorize on minimal evidence and tend to trust shows in the moment. You can argue that's naive, but hey, at least most twists stay twists for me ^^ there are shows that have made their twists blindingly obvious where I will see them coming (I won't name names here because of potential spoilers) but I think they did a fairly good job here of not making it too obvious.
Honestly, if anything, I feel like they could have done more in terms of foreshadowing and hints. Even in retrospect, I thought Irving's suspicions are a bit thin as to his actual evidence and it's honestly kind of insane he almost murders Helly just because Helena's story about what she saw on the outside was a bit off (there could be tons of reasons for why she wouldn't want to tell the truth) and because she was a bit "cruel" to him once.

I'm surprised you did not see that twist coming. You are very observant and it was hidden in plain sight. If you rewatch the first three episodes it becomes even more clear together with episode 5.
Good reaction, keep it coming!
