Lana Del Rey - Unreleased Music Suggestions
Added 2024-10-15 23:34:45 +0000 UTCHi guys! Thanks to the poll you guys voted on, we’ll be doing another Lana Del Rey Unreleased Music Reaction by the end of the month! I saw a comment at one point suggesting that I be more frugal with the songs I pick, as some of her unreleased music is SUPER unfinished and random, which we’ve already definitely experienced.
I want to ask you guys for all of your favorite unreleased Lana suggestions - I figured this would be a better way to learn more fandom lore and listen to what you’re all *actually* excited about!

Lady Gaga recorded during her Lizzy Grant days) Pink Champagne (The original version of ''Let me love you like a woman'' which was supposed to be on Ultraviolence) Dragonslayer (also supposed to be on UV) Madly (same) Zodiac (this song only exists in the form of a very bad quality audio recording, but you can find some remasters on YouTube. The lyrics talk about the Gilgo Beach murders; it was supposed to replace the Judah Smith Interlude on Ocean Blvd)

A few weirder ones that are still worth listening to: scarface, so legit (lady gaga diss lol), delicious (questionable), get drunk, run motorcycle (a sad one), catch and release. Also you can listen to diet mountain dew and dark paradise demos, they have different lyrics.

2024-11-09 08:40:14 +0000 UTCid recommend doing the whole aka album. It was released under lizzy grant then taken down when she changed names (i think it was a marketing/label issue). The songs on there are counted as unreleased but it would be much better to listen to them as the album was intended. You can find playlists of the whole album on YouTube (check on google that all the songs are there tho)

2024-10-17 16:35:03 +0000 UTCI’ve also been going through her unreleased music here and there…what I’ve found is that if you go to the unreleased track section on Lanapedia and only listen to the songs that have somebody listed in “co-creator” you weed out all the raw tracks that sound like voice memos. I’ve also found you miss few produced tracks that way as well. The tracks others have listed (and many more) are basically fully produced and it’s quite an eclectic selection. Any way you decide to choose these unreleased tracks, you’ll have fun discovering them.
