2020-09-06 01:11:45 +0000 UTCBe Here Now ficking broke my soul. Andy Whitfield was amazing. I know he approved of Liam taking over but I had so many mixed emotions about it. I still do. Liam did good, but Andy WAS Spartacus 🤷🏼.

2020-08-31 17:57:29 +0000 UTCR.I.P Andy Whitfield. You will always be missed. So, a little backstory, at this point, Andy had been diagnosed with cancer and they had begun production of season 2. However, because of the cancer, they put it on hold and instead began a prequel show to give Andy time to heal and recover and then return the following year in season 2. . . Unfortunately, in the end, even though going into remission for a short time, the cancer returned. They knew he could not return and began looking for a replacement actor for Spartacus. Andy ultimately gives his blessing to Liam Mcintyre to play the role and then Andy dies a little time later. . So the watch order here is God's of the Arena next. And then of course continue with Vengeance and War of The Damned. . Spartacus leap in this finale is my favorite moment of the entire show. The whole scene from the leap, to Crixus screaming KILL THEM ALL and unleashing the gauls onto the guards. Perfection. Never seen anything like it in TV before or since. I have never been so happy to see a massacre. But let's face it, those fucking Romans deserve it.
