In Put Me in a Movie she said Sparkle Jump Rope Queen, it's the name of her website that her and her team created last year for news ect, "https://sparklejumpropequeen.os.fan/". Again a reference to her old song and old stage name, cause yes SparkleJumpRopeQueen was one of her stage name. I love when she acknowledge her Lizzy era <3. Put Me in a Movie is one of her darkest and saddest song she ever made, the meaning behind this song is so sad. Put Me in a Movie have 4 versions : The album version — 3:13 (the one you reacted to). Ruby — 3:47 (Ruby is the other name of Put Me in a Movie) from the EP' No Kung Fu. Little Girls demo — 3:41. Fans favorite is Put Me in a Movie demo 2, the best version tbh.

Lana Del Ray A.K.A Lizzy Grant ; Music Video history : - Kill Kill have 2 MV - Gramma (Blue Ribbon Sparkler Trailer Heaven) have 6 MV (but I think there's no big change between them, to confirm I didn't watch them all) - Jump have 1 MV - Mermaid Motel have 1 MV - Pawn Shop Blues have 2 MV (Fun fact the second MV is filmed by her sister Chuck Grant, recorded in 2021 so 11 years after the release of the song, and her sister reposted it last month on her IG @/yourgirlchuck, so potentially gonna be on Lasso) - Brites Lites have 1 MV - Put Me in a Movie have 2 MV - Yayo have 1 MV (Filmed in 2007-2008 Del Rey created a homemade music video for Yayo. It was uploaded to YouTube on July 5, 2008. It features clips of Del Rey herself and clips she gathered from miscellaneous films and videos, the usual style of her old music videos.) So if you want to react to it, use Lana WIKI here https://lanadelrey.fandom.com/wiki/Lana_Del_Ray_(album) , It has all the MV's linked to each song, mostly all linked MV's on the site are deleted, but they are still all findable on YT. Also mostly all of the songs with MV have live performances, it's so funny to see her singing it live in old bars, she sound so baby doll and crazy rock voice, I love her, would be funny to react to theses but you still have a lot of unreleased to react ah ah so I guess probably after you react to everything maybe you could react to theses after, anyways I love your Lana content !

Dragonslayer is still one of my favourites.

Thank you Mel!

Fun fact: This album was actually completed by 2008, cover, songs, production etc. Hence why Lana’s vocals are so drastically different than in BTD. Her label shelved it until 2010 when they released it on itunes for a few months. Due to a lack of funding, it was pulled. Lana switched to a major label and released BTD as her major label debut. She was able to buy the rights to AKA back and claimed she’d re-release it after BTD. She never did..

Loved the reaction as always❤️ i've been a Lana stan for 11 years now so I thought I could recommend some unreleased songs that are definitely worth listening to: 1. Dragonslayer 2. Paris 3. Jealous Girl 4. Wayamaya 5. Queen Of Disaster 6. Last Girl On Earth 7. Never Let Me Go 8. Meet Me In The Pale Moonlight 9. Fine China 10. Say Yes To Heaven (this one used to be unreleased for years, she released it in 2023 when it was becoming viral on TikTok) 11. Serene Queen 12. Kinda Outta Luck 13. Serial Killer 14. Because Of You 15. Boarding School There's many many more so hopefully our Lana journey won't end anytime soon ❤️

Such a great reaction video! Pawn Shops Blues has been one of my favorite Lana songs for 12 years. The bridge gets me every time. “Been broken since I was born” and the way her voice cracks 😭😭 I respect that you love the Paradise version of Yayo. For me, the AKA version is just far superior in every way. Vocals, production, ugh I love it. Some other unreleased songs you should definitely give a listen to: 1. Kinda Outta Luck 2. Serial Killer 3. She’s Not Me (my second fave after PSB) 4. You Can Be the Boss But honestly any you find are going to be good

Like you mentioned in your reaction, the album has a lot of different sounds to it. There’s a video during that era where she talks about the album and describes it as “Surf Noir” and visual. And she decided to work with producer David Kahne after asking if he could make the record sound like “a black and white movie, a sad party, and famous”. As you know, Yayo was re-recorded for the Paradise EP (I prefer the AKA version). The producer David Kahne had said this about the song: "Noir trailer park escape to bright futures, on a stranger's motorcycle... I had Lizzy/Lana play the guitar on this because she has such a unique and simple approach to how she plays, on only two strings at a time. It's very distinctive. She didn't like to play guitar because it messed up her nails."

Hi, loved the reaction to the album! I wanted to answer some of your questions about the project (sorry in advance for the longer post). During 2008-2010, I believe she was strictly using Lizzy Grant as her stage name (she even released an EP prior to the album called Kill Kill EP under the Lizzy Grant name which included Kill Kill, Yayo, and Gramma). And somewhere along that time, she came up with the Lana moniker and wanted to switch to that. But I believe she was advised against that because her local underground fans already knew her as Lizzy so finding her album under a different name would’ve been difficult so she combined both names together in the album title (which also messed up promotion as no one knew what the project was called or what name she was using). And if you also notice, on AKA the Ray is spelled with an A like the name, while it is now spelled Rey with an E which means King in Spanish.

I absolutely love that this album was well received by you. I always get nervous for reactors because it's not as polished as her other albums but I feel very optimistic now if you decide to react to some of Lana's unreleased music which is just as random as this album lol. Great reaction and thank you!!!

Walter Bonsell

i was 5 in the early 2000s😭 my parents put cds onto my mp3 when i was young lol

Cassie

My fave version of Yayo is the version on this album.

Melissa Reynolds

You can always download the songs off youtube as mp3s and then add them to your apple music library ... Come on you grew up in the early 2000s didnt you? lol

Nick DePanfilis

"Palm trees in black and white" is a line she reused in Fishtail - so I think Lizzy Grant is still alive and well in her and I truly have faith that she's gonna release this album properly one of these days!

Melissa Reynolds

Also I think we need 'Baby Lana' to be the new Baby Yoda.

Melissa Reynolds

i listen to her unreleased stuff on spotify with podcasts, people upload her stuff as a podcast and it's usually pretty high quality idk abt apple music though! and there has been some rumors floating around thats she's re-recording or just re-releasing this album, she's been teasing it here and there but a lot of times she teases stuff and doesn't realize she's teasing lmao so who knows

kerry berry

I'm only 2 songs in and already loving this reaction haha. Also when I sent you the time stamps on Discord I should have clarified that they were the correct ones from the video comment, not the wrong ones from the video description! Sorry for forgetting to mention that!
