A good reason to destroy the ring is if Angel becomes Angelus again and has the ring. Imagine the damages invincible Angelus could do.

2024-04-20 09:41:24 +0000 UTCSpike was actually nice to Cordy, complementing her, like meeting an old friend. I guess he admires her for ribbing Buffy and the Gang all through High School. They did not have too many scenes together in Buffy, just when he attacked the school, and on the Halloween shenanigans, and maybe when Angelus, Drusilla, and Spike invaded the mall with the Judge.
