June 2023 Exclusive COMPLETE

This was really hard to finish because my AC had gone out for the past few days in sweltering southern heat/humidity but I was really lucky to finally have it fixed today and so we are all good! My favorite thing about this piece was the texture that I managed to incorporate through the whole thing! I started with a layer filling up all the spots that I planned on coloring ahead of time, then using a textured brush on a clipping layer to erase the layer very slightly, leaving a textured appearance that I could then use clipping layers on top of to color freely without messing it up. Led to a really fun piece, and glad to finally draw these two after many years of being scared to because the designs were a bit complex. They really weren't that bad at all, though kass's wing feathers were a bit of a doozy to plan out. All in all really happy with this c:
