Narnia - The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

I understand that everyone have their own opinion, don't worry about being rude, you're just sharing your opinions on the movie and how my reactions are towards Edmond 😊 I guess to me Edmond got off too easy. Even when the start of the movie, he just seems so spoil and do whatever he wants and put the family in jeopardy. I feel that even towards the end of the movie everyone is just too lenient with Edmond. Aslan didn't want the soldiers or the siblings to bring it up because Aslan doesn't want the soldiers to rile up because Edmond is the traitor and end up hurting him. But Edmond should know better and apologize to the siblings. The big brother blame himself for being hard with Edmond but that is not true. Edmond is just too spoil, his older siblings have to keep taking fault for his mistakes. You are right with the fact that I will not like all the movies that I will watched. This movie is ok with me only πŸ˜•, mainly because I'm annoyed with everyone babying Edmond. I love Peter and the adorable Lucy πŸ₯°πŸ˜‰

Okay, Ruby, I love you, and I’m not trying to be rude here at all, I just have questions. What did Edmund have to do to show you that he learned his lesson? Because his character has the most growth out of everyone in this movie, he definitely was not the same at the end as he was at the beginning of the movie. He very much did learn his lesson. You pointed out that he kept ratting people out, but there are subtle changes in those actions alone. The first time he did it was out of selfishness, he wanted to be king and he wanted his siblings to be his servants. Once he was in prison, he did it to protect himself. The last time he did it, he was trying to protect someone else, and that was the first time he had thought about someone else’s well-being the entire time. So while still not the right thing to do in that situation, his heart was starting to get in the right place. And then when he talked with Aslan, we didn’t hear the conversation, but Aslan clearly gave him his lesson in that moment and made sure he was repentant, and Edmund’s body language clearly indicates he is so. Whenever he brought Edmund back to his siblings, he said, β€œWhat’s done is done. There is no need to speak with Edmund about what is past.” So for Edmund to verbally say sorry would be bringing it up again, and Aslan said there was no need to do so. And whenever they find out that Aslan died, he told Peter to lead the way and that he believed in him. Edmund at the beginning of the movie would have never done that. And he went from trying to sell out his brother to the White Witch to sacrificing himself in order to save his brother from the White Witch. Again, sorry, I hope that wasn’t too rude, and it’s completely fine that you didn’t really like the movie, no one’s gonna like everything they watch, but I just felt like you completely missed Edmund’s character because your initial annoyance with him got in the way of seeing his growth.
