2020-11-12 03:14:56 +0000 UTCYou need to understand that vampires don't necessarily need to turn people in order to heal them. Making them drink their blood is enough. In order to turn, the human must die with the vampire's blood in its system. In the case of this episode, Matt needed to die after Caroline made him drink her blood. Otherwise, he's just healed.
