What a year and how quickly it did fly.

Prelude
2024 is almost over with Christmas just around the corner, I thought I'd sum up this year a bit. Overall, this year hasn't been as productive as we'd hoped it'd be. There's a lot of stuff we wanted to create and experimental ideas to try out, but it seems like we were in short supply of both time and energy. Funds can often supplement these, but I can't say we're swimming in it either.
              One of the reasons was our visa issues, where we're still trying to go through the process of living together without having to get weirdo visas, but various name misspellings and mistranslations have pushed that timeline a bit far back. Pea is now back in her home-country sorting some of that stuff out.
              Another big reason for this loss in productivity I'd say was the fact that both Pea and I were constantly distracted by our little renovation/construction project. We're trying to restore an old house left to us to make it a cozy livable space as our current abode is a little cramped.
               The process was a big learning experience and still is. We've undoubtedly made mistakes that'll come to bite us back later, but we're generally quite happy with the results we have so far. It's nothing grand but for a couple of amateurs just going at it, it's good enough.
              Hence, my big advice to any of you who may be starting out with anything similar: Know its gonna take a lot longer than you anticipate. And if possible, hire folks to help you out.
              Our original estimate for completion was sometime in June. Yet here we are in December still going at it, but closer than ever before. So here's hoping that we manage to finish it up early 2025!

Now as for the creation side of things. I must say despite sometimes missing the freedom I do feel like the polls have helped us stay on track. The promise we give each time a poll is sent out is that we'll do what you ask. It's a sweet lil' guiding beacon for the random direction we go in. The ideas you fellas come up with are often quite stellar and I'm saddened by the fact that we can't quite get to all of them at once, but we sure as heck will continue trying.

              As for new ideas, Pea's cooking up a project that's got some real spunk but might be cutting it quite close to copyright danger zone. Don't want to mention more until we actually publish it. I've got ideas on how to make a simple token creator using our existing assets (instead of a dedicated program). But I've actually got to test the idea out. Things are always harder in practice.

Inkarnate has slowly been working on its own marketplace, being a big fan of their editor, I wanted to jump on that train as soon as it got there. But there have been challenges with reorganizing content specifically for it. In its alpha stage it takes a lot of time, but I'm hopeful.

And perhaps let's end my end-of-the-year thoughts here. Could start a podcast with all the stuff I wanna talk about... Run for 2 episodes then enjoy awkward silence.

I do believe I should be able to get this one out this month, I'll begin tackling it as soon as I finish exporting the City pack. It mostly needs small cosmetic and organizational improvements so it shouldn't be a challenge.

1. City_Sci-Fi_02_Futuristic_City
This one is mid-export. Expect it to release in the coming days.

2. Tokens_Cyberpunk_08_Metahuman_Security
This one is currently still in the works, Pea has begun working her magic. I'm pretty positive we'll get this one out soon enough. I hope.
