*So, you all have heard J mention for a while that our buddy Pnut (who was an original reactor here at EOM when we started) would be slowly coming back to the channel. J and Pnut have been working on some practice videos, and this is the first one we're gonna let you all see and test run. We're actually gonna leave this one open to all tiers, and the Dark Tower movie file is linked below for anyone who want to download and watch along. The plan is for some duo stuff like this for J and Pnut to pop up as we go, as well as Pnut doing some solo reactions, which will probably begin around JLoween. He's not a fan of horror movies at all, so in typical Blank fashion, I gave him the scariest movie imaginable for him to start with, because that's how I roll. We did it to J, so we have to do it to Pnut, too.
So , let us know what you think in the comments as we continue to mess with the format and technical stuff on these, and hopefully you all find these dup collabs as funny as I do. I can assure you from being their friend for two decades, any time these two are together, it is 100% gonna be a laugh riot for both them and anyone watching.

The Dark Tower is my all time favorite book series. I had been waiting for years for a movie to come out and we got this turd. So disappointing

2025-08-28 22:28:17 +0000 UTCHaven't seen it since it came out, and it's a lot better now, with time passed. it was so hated at the time. In fact, it was so derided, they had to come out and say that this wasn't the actual characters from the books, but just another version or another story. The problem is that the Dark Tower series is unadaptable. It is nearly 5000 pages over 8 books (And that's just the Dark Tower books themselves.). There will never be an adaptation that does the whole story any justice. As you guessed, there are a lot of Stephen King references in both this and across everything he's done. (Almost) Everything King has ever done has linked together, and the Dark Tower is the centerpiece of it, along with main villains with the initials of RF, and the Crimson King. It would be impossible to really explain everything without a year or two, or just answering direct questions. Since you did bring it up, the "forgot the face of your father" saying is not really well explained until book 4 of the series, so it would be a long way from being answered. The basics of it would come down to being that you have forgotten the lessons that you have been taught, that you have needed to direct your life in the right way. That you have failed your teachings and those who taught you. Really, though, as much as this movie annoyed me when it came out due to the inaccuracies, I enjoyed it now. I did not expect that.
